Accidents
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following accidents:
- Saturday, Dec. 29, 7:16 a.m. U.S. 30, Warsaw. Driver: Tiffany A. Bridegam, 22, South 400 West, Warsaw. Bridegam lost control of her vehicle on the snow covered road when she changed lanes and slid into a ditch. Damages: up to $2,500
- Friday, Dec. 28, 10:17 a.m. SR 13, Pierceton. Driver: Joseph E. Nix, 48, 3rd St., Fort Wayne. Driver lost control on the snow covered road and slid into a ditch. Damages: up to $5,000
- Friday, Dec. 28, 11:07 a.m. CR 850 East, Syracuse. Driver: Elmer J. Scarsellato, 77, North Goldilocks Lane, Cromwell. Driver lost control on the snow covered road and slid into a ditch. Damages: up to $2,500
- Friday, Dec. 28, 11:48 a.m. 101 S. Main St., Leesburg. Driver: Ryan N. Dye, 28, North Runkle Road, Warsaw. Driver slid on snow/slush and struck a gas pump at Katies Kwik Mart, Leesburg. Damages: up to $10,000
- Friday, Dec. 28, 6 p.m. East 200 North, Warsaw. Driver: Bennett K. Wuthrich, 46, East 300 North, Warsaw. A deer jumped out in front of Wuthrich’s vehicle. Damages: up to $2,500
- Friday, Dec. 28, 8:42 p.m. U.S. 30 and CR 700 West, Warsaw. Driver: Brian E. Wood, 54, West Old Road 30, Warsaw. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $5,000

Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Dec. 28, 2 p.m. Juan Fuentes of South Blue Spruce Court, Warsaw, reported the theft of a cross bow from his shed.
- Dec. 28, 5:12 p.m. Freedom Oil in Leesburg reported a drive off.
- Dec. 25, 12 p.m. Dorcas Kipker of Warsaw reported a theft of medication.
