Kosciusko County ‘Remembering The Dream’

Kosciusko County’s Silver Anniversary Program to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at the Orthopaedic Capital Center, 610 Wooster Rd, Winona Lake.

“A 25 Year Stroll Down Memory Lane,” presented by the Committee to Commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Inc., in cooperation with Grace College and Seminary, will begin at 11 a.m. with a luncheon celebration.

The committee announced it has looked back to its origin and will feature some of the key early pioneers that were instrumental in helping to establish and grow the committee over the years. The committee will also review and highlight some of the most outstanding programs and entertainment presented during the past 25 years.

Featured entertainment will be by Marshall White and The World Champion Voices of Unity of Fort Wayne; Youth from New Life Church, Warsaw; Dr. JB Pressey, past president MLK Fort Wayne (I Have A Dream); and Barbara Blevins of the famed gospel Blevin Sisters.

The event is open to the public.
