A Culver woman arrived home late last night to find her husband and a teen-age family friend dead. Tonight, police still aren’t saying what led to the shooting deaths.

Culver Police Chief Wayne Bean said the woman arrived at her home in the 400 block of Madison Street near downtown Culver just before 11 p.m. last night and found her husband, Michael Price, 44, and a 16-year-old Stephen Suthard, also of Culver, deceased from gunshot wounds. Bean says a gun was found with one of the victims, but he is not yet saying which one had the weapon. There were no signs of forcible entry.

Suthard was a sophomore at Culver Community High School. He was not related to Price, but police say through the investigation they have found that the teen was very close to the Price family.

According to WSBT-TV, police were called once before to the Price home when Michael Price shot an intruder during a burglary, but police insist that had nothing to do with this case.

Autopsies are now planned for this weekend.
