Morris W. ‘Morrie’ Wolferman
Morris W. “Morrie” Wolferman, 77, of Milford, Ind., passed away at 4:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at The Maples Nursing Home in Goshen, Ind.
He was born on July 25, 1935, in Milford to John W. & Ruth (Blough) Wolferman. He grew up in Milford and graduated in 1953 from Milford High School. He was a United States Army Veteran and a lifetime area resident except two years while in the service. He retired as a foreman from Johnson Controls in Goshen, Ind., after 35 years of service.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Milford and formerly attended the Bethel Church of the Brethren in Milford.
He is survived by a sister: Mary Vanlaningham, Milford; a brother: Robert “Bob” (Joyce) Wolferman, Milford; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Dick Wolferman.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, Ind. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Michael Kelley of the Word of Truth Ministries in Milford officiating. Burial will follow in the Milford Cemetery.
