Subjects Elude K9 Track
Warsaw Police were unsuccessful in tracking down two suspects involved in breaking into two vehicles late Thursday afternoon.
Warsaw Police and K-9 units tracked two suspects believed to be responsible for the break-ins. According to a police report, windows on two vehicles were smashed out and purses were stolen. Both vehicles were parked at the Fresenius Medical Care facility at 3334 Lake City Highway. The thefts were reported by Lara Miller of Warsaw.
The subjects, described as a white male and a Hispanic male, fled the area on foot. Canines were able to track them to an area along the railroad tracks behind Big R where one of the purses was located. The search area also included the Forest Park Mobile Home Park.
One of the suspects was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans, the other was believed to be wearing a blue shirt and jeans.
The incident remains under investigation.
