Lady Tiger Basketball raises $1,063 for Habitat Women Build

Warsaw Lady Tiger basketball held a 3-on-3 tournament at the Baker Youth Center earlier this month raising $1,063 for Habitat for Humanity of Kosciusko County’s Women Build project. Jennifer Walker-Crawford, a senior basketball player at Warsaw coordinated the tournament and stated that 26 teams of both boys and girls competed in 6 divisions.

The tournament would not have been able to happen without the support of: Culligan, Terry Leek, Joe and DeDe Graham, Luanne Polling, Rick Rivera, Robert Signs, Martins Supermarket, Heather Desenberg, Beth Anderson, Grace College, North Webster United Methodist Church, Collier’s, Rabb Kinetico, Owen’s, Culver’s, WRSW radio, Dairy Queen, Baker Youth Club, Tracy Furnivall and the Lady Tiger basketball coaching staff.

Habitat wishes to thank all the Lady Tiger basketball players, coaches and supporters for putting on this event and for all who participated.
